Want The Perfect Beach Waves But Your Natural Hair Won’t Behave? Here’s How To Get Them

You’ll have to focus hard to think of a hairstyle that’s more revered and celebrated than beautiful beachy waves. They look natural, can be worn with any outfit, are fun and flirty, and are just an all-around super cool hairstyle to rock!

So whether you want to head out to the nearest donut place to enjoy a delicious treat with your best friend or take your partner to a luxurious anniversary date, if you’re running short on time and want to look your best, you can’t go wrong with this beach wave look.

But how do you even go about creating this look?

Well, there are several ways. Since this look is fairly versatile, it can be created with a curling iron, a straightener, or even without heating tools, but in that case, it will take a lot longer.

Let’s look at each of these methods in a little more detail.

The Overnight Beachy Waves

This one is the option for you if you don’t have a curling wand or a straightening iron. All you need is a single night’s labor.

The best way to start is with freshly washed, wet hair. If your hair isn’t wet, spritz them. Next, scoop up all your hair on the top of your hair and create a ponytail. Make sure to get as close to the scalp as possible.

When you’re done, divide your hair into three equal sections and make three loose braids. Sleep on the braids and let your hair dry like that. When you wake up in the morning, pull your braids out and voila, you’ve got beach waves!

Curling Iron To The Rescue

If you’re short on time, get your curling iron out and curl your hair in small sections, changing the direction of the curl every couple of strands. This will add texture, dimension, and depth to your beach waves look.

When you’re done curling your all your hair, run a wide-toothed comb through the length of it to make it look natural and well-blended. Spray it in place with a hairspray, and you’re ready to head out!

Don’t Have An Iron? Use A Straightener Instead!

If you don’t have a curling iron and are short on time, too, all is not lost. Grab your hair straightener and twist each strand around a thick pencil or an empty glass lip gloss container before pressing it with a straightener.

When you’re curling your hair, finger comb it a couple of times to open up the curls a little bit, and you’re good!

Even though beach waves are amazing, what makes them look even better is hair extensions. Feel free to browse our collection of natural-looking human hair extensions. Contact us if you have any questions.
